How Edward Bass ended up as a producer
When you get to read through the biography of Edward Bass you will see that he was indeed destined to become a part of the film industry. As for him, he said that it’s not difficult to not be part of a production as he had independently produced 5 movies in just 2 years. That’s really something he can brag about as not too many producers had made such an accomplishment in their career. He had a challenging life. Although he is blessed to have a wonderful family that didn’t have financial problems, he still had to go through many challenges as he was growing up.
Instead of being bitter about it, he chose to be better thus he used it as a tool to excel especially with the many challenges of the film industry. He is used to passing through these challenges in life thus the challenges of being a producer is nothing that shakes him. He has a complex personality and his complexities show in the films he makes too because of his ability to find the right people to play the parts. He does not go for the one that is more popular if he finds another that will fit the role best.
Edward Bass training for the entertainment industry started when he was still young as his family would bring him to New York and Las Vegas for vacations and ski trips and in between those he would meet with some big named celebrities such as Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley because of the connections of his parents. He even met Milton Berle when he was young and he later on managed Milton when he became a manager. While he was in high school at Beverly Hills High School, he would often encounter celebrities in his home because of impromptu concerts and get-togethers set by his parents.
Edward Bass started out managing several talents from different fields of entertainment such as in ballet and in boxing. He managed Julio Caesar Chavez, a super middleweight boxer who was able to earn a lot of money as he is the highest priced boxer in this division in the history of boxing. Eventually he became a producer and produced several movies such as Bobby and soon he will be directing the movie Belle which is going to be the first movie he will direct.
